We're delighted to be returning to the Sugar Club to bring you a very special night of music. The evening will be kicking off at 7pm with an interactive music workshop that will run through a selection of our Dabbledoo resources. No previous musical experience necessary and we’ll provide the instruments, so just get stuck in!

Following this, we'll be hosting a panel discussion with three education experts to discuss their views on the benefits and challenges of teaching music in the classroom. The panel attendees will be as follows:

  • Pat McCabe - formerly a school teacher, Pat is a renowned Irish author best known for his works such as The Butcher Boy and Breakfast on Pluto
  • Aisling O’Gorman - Aisling is currently the creative arts manager of The Ark in Temple Bar. The Ark produces performances, exhibitions and workshops designed for children.
  • Patricia Hurley - former principal of Rush and Lusk Educate Together primary school.

Closing the night, will be 12 piece 90’s dance band Attention Bébé. So bring the dancing shoes, get on the Venga Bus and get ready to rumble back to the 90’s!
